Data Deletion

This page explains how to disconnect a connected social account and how to request deletion of your data from Spoof Kitchen, operated by Spoof Social Studio Ltd (RC 9424008). It applies to every platform we support: Facebook, Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and TikTok. For the full detail on what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.

You can remove a connected account in two ways:

• In Spoof Kitchen, go to Settings → Connections and remove the account. This immediately revokes the connection and queues the stored profile reference and any cached content for that account for deletion.
• From the platform itself — its security or connected-apps settings — revoke Spoof Kitchen’s access directly. This takes effect immediately on the platform’s side; we detect the revocation and clean up our records within 30 days.

Disconnecting a platform does not delete content already published there — that content lives on the platform under its own terms, and you remove it from there directly.

To delete your entire Spoof Kitchen account and the data associated with it, email privacy@spoof.media from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We may ask you to confirm your identity before actioning the request.

When you disconnect an account or delete your account, we delete:

• The stored profile reference for each connected account (platform account ID, handle, avatar URL, granted scopes).
• Any posts, messages, or comments we fetched from a disconnected platform and cached in your workspace.
• Your account, content, and workspace data held in our database and media storage.

Zernio, our publishing provider, revokes and deletes the corresponding OAuth tokens on its side. We keep records we are legally required to retain (for example tax invoices, kept for 7 years) and residual copies in managed backups age out on our providers’ standard rotation. Deleting your account does not remove content already published to a social platform — you remove that directly on the platform.

We action disconnect and deletion requests within 30 days of receiving them. You will get an email confirmation once the deletion is complete.
