Terms of Service

Last updated: 8 August 2026 · Effective: 8 August 2026

Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Spoof Media (“Spoof Kitchen”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Spoof Kitchen you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Spoof Kitchen is a workspace for short-form creators. We help you upload media, generate captions and metadata with AI, schedule publishing, and read analytics across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and LinkedIn. Features evolve. We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and will give reasonable notice for material changes.

Your account

  • You must be at least 13 (16 in the EEA) to use Spoof Kitchen.
  • Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secret. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Notify us at once if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • One account per person. Sharing logins across teams is not permitted — use workspace seats instead.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload or create (“Your Content”). You grant Spoof Kitchen a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, transcode, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate the service for you — for example, to deliver it from our CDN, run AI features you ask for, and publish to the platforms you connect.

You confirm you have all rights, licences, and consents needed for Your Content, including for any people, music, or third-party material it contains. You are responsible for Your Content.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Spoof Kitchen to:

  • Break the law, including infringing copyright or trademark rights.
  • Post hateful, harassing, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, doxxing, or threats.
  • Run spam, automated mass-engagement schemes, or impersonation campaigns.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code, models, or other users’ data.
  • Interfere with the service — for example, by exceeding rate limits, probing for vulnerabilities without authorisation, or uploading malware.
  • Use the service to violate the terms of any connected platform (Meta, TikTok, Google/YouTube, X, LinkedIn).

We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that breach this section. Serious or repeated violations are grounds for immediate termination.

Connected platforms

When you connect a social platform, your use of that platform is governed by its own terms. We are not responsible for platform outages, API changes, content moderation decisions, rate limits, or account bans imposed by third parties. If a platform revokes our access or yours, the corresponding Spoof Kitchen features will stop working.

Connections and publishing are delivered through Zernio, our integration provider. Content you schedule or publish passes through Zernio on its way to the platform. An outage or change at Zernio can interrupt publishing in the same way a platform outage can.

AI output

Spoof Kitchen includes AI features (transcription, caption and title suggestions, trend matching, image generation) powered by models from OpenAI and Google. When you use them, your inputs are sent to those providers to produce your result; how they handle that data is described in our Privacy Policy.

AI output can be inaccurate, biased, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing it before publishing. Identical or similar output may be produced for other users — we do not grant you exclusive rights to AI-generated text or images. Don’t use AI features to generate content that violates the acceptable-use rules above.

Subscriptions and billing

  • Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel.
  • Payments are processed by Paystack. Prices are listed on the pricing page and may include local taxes.
  • You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; you keep access until then.
  • If a payment fails we may downgrade or suspend your account after retries and notice.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. Changes apply at your next renewal.

Trials and refunds

Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, email billing@spoof.media within 14 days.

Termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing, and you can close your account entirely by emailing privacy@spoof.media. We can suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the service or other users. On termination, your right to use Spoof Kitchen ends and we will delete or anonymise your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Our intellectual property

Spoof Kitchen, the Spoof Kitchen name, marks, and the software, designs, and content we provide (excluding Your Content) are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the service except as the service intends.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that AI output will be accurate or suitable for any purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spoof Kitchen will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or lost goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100 — whichever is greater.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spoof Kitchen and its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos, Nigeria, except where local consumer-protection law gives you the right to sue in your home jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
